Race Course Park
Jilani Park is
situated in the city of Lahore. It is on the Jail Road before acclaimed
Services Hospital. It is well known for its flower presentations and fake
cascade. Yearly pony dashing rivalries are held in this park. Lahore Race Club
racecourse was at first at Jail Road, Lahore, the present site of Jilani Park.
In 1976, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto's administration requested that the club move its
races from the Jail Road course, however, it stayed there until 1980 when it
was constrained to leave. Race Course Park was introduced by Lt General Ghulam Jilani Khan around then Governor Punjab on third October 1985.
